Three potential destination for Boeser
The ramblings around Canucks forward Brock Boeser are only beginning since it was revealed that the team granted his agent the right to start shopping the player.
NHL Trade Rumors has entered the game and suggested three potential trade partners for the forward:
1. PITTSBURGH PENGUINS
They revealed that Hextall and Burke are both very found of Boeser, the Canucks management already have an existing relationship with these two, which could definitely facilitate a trade. Cap wise, the Penguins would most likely have to involve Kasperi Kapanen and other assets to make it happen.
2. NEW YORK ISLANDERS
The Islanders lack offense and have great defensive depth. They've been really quiet on the market as of late. Boeser is known to be a great teammate and a professional off the ice. There could definitely be a match to be made there as well.
3. DETROIT RED WINGS
Steve Yzerman has built a contending team in the becoming, the former no. 19 has the cap space for a few years to acquire Boeser's contract. Detroit also has tons of young talent, but it's also suggested that they could make a trade one for one for a defenseman.
It's only a matter of time.
