VERY DANGEROUS PLAY IN THE WHL
In an official WHL Game, the Victoria Royals were playing the Everett Silvertips and Alex Edwards was caught throwing a vicious and dangerous hit on Dexter Whittle while forechecking:
'' Victoria Royals forward Alex Edwards has been suspended for 25 games for this hit on Everett Silvertips defenceman Dexter Whittle. Edwards was arrested twice last season and will be eligible to return to the lineup on December 1st.

A repeated offender suspended twice last season, Edwards was awarded a 25-game suspension for his action and won't be eligible to play until December 1st. Edwards collected 7 points in 49 games last season and 95 penalty minutes.
