WATCH: Scheifele frustrated after a call, rifles puck at the ref
After McDavid's tantrum at the ref on Friday, it appears that Mark Scheifele was also highly affected by the officials in his game against the caps.
On a race for the puck, the linesman made an icing call and Scheifele thought he had won the race. Scheifele was pissed at the call and blasted the puck at the referee standing by. The latter immediately gave him a penalty, have a look at the sequence:
Scheifele's meant to be a leader in this team. Immature gestures like this one is definitely unacceptable. The Jets were already down 2-0 at this point in the game. It certainly didn't help their cause. They ultimately ended up losing 4-1. Should he be getting a call from the disciplinary comitee after the break?
