Luke Gazdic and Former Vancouver Canucks fan favorite Kevin Bieksa had some choice words criticizing what they saw out of Edmonton Oilers superstar Leon Draisaitl.

On the recent installment of Hockey Night in Canada, analyst Kevin Bieksa and Luke Gazdic do what they do, analyzing and commenting on what they see from around the NHL.

This time, there focus was on the body language of Edmonton Oilers Superstar Leon Draisaitl.

Draisaitl was picking up a puck along the boards and trying to dump the puck in the zone, when he was caught with a hip check from Panarin. Draisaitl got up quickly while fixing his equipment, took Panarin's number, and got back into the play. -Liam McCormick, Oilers Daily

Kevin Bieksa and Luke Gazdic Call out Leon Draisaitl for his body language

Late in the 3rd period between the Edmonton Oilers and New York Rangers, fellow star forward Artemi Panarin clipped Leon Draisaitl with a questionable hip check, making Leon spin and fall to the ice.

As Kevin Bieksa was analyzing the play, Luke Gazdic jumped in to criticize the lack of effort and body language that Leon Draisaitl was displaying.

»Leon, get up and get back in the play. It drives me nuts sometimes. I just didn't love the reaction. The body language speaks volumes, right? And it just didn't look right.»

Luke Gazdic, who was known as a enforcer during his tenure in the NH, is not a fan favorite for his appearances and comments on the air.

Regardless of his comments against Draisaitl and how they could be out of touch, his is a former teammate of #29, and he would know more than most about his body language and when he is feeling the effects of frustration.
