LATEST | Detail of Thatcher Demko's new mask emerges: Thoughtful tribute
The Canucks' netminder Thatcher Demko has been known for his tributes. Whether it was a throwback equipement, or a tribute on one of his masks, the American striked again.
Arboring a new mask, the goaltender made sure to add a tribute on one of the franchise's best ever netminder. The images showed that his mask included a well-deserved tribute to the soon-to-be Ring of Honour Roberto Luongo.
Demko's has been recognizing some of the Canucks' great for quite some time now, first an equipment to Kirk McLean's colors, a mask tribute to the late Gino Odjick and now the Canucks' great number one.
