The Arizona Coyotes have had a fairly busy summer in the free agent market by adding Jason Zucker, Alex Kerfoot and former Canucks defenceman Travis Dermott, among others.
General Manager Bill Armstrong was also able to get the team's top prospect Logan Cooley under contract and was back in the free agent market on Sunday.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Coyotes have signed ten-year NHL veteran Matt Dumba to a one-year contract in the $4 million range.
Dumba, a native of Regina, Saskatchewan, was selected seventh overall by the Minnesota Wild in 2012 and has gone on to appear in 598 career games for them, putting up 236 points.
