There's been lots of speculation over the last 24 hours regarding Corey Perry and his mysterious suspension from the Chicago Blackhawks. The initial reports falsely accused Perry of entertaining an extramarital affair with Connor Bedard's mother, and an interesting report came out after the BlackHawks' Press Conference confirming that one had absolutely nothing to do with the other.

PERRY NOT INVOLVED WITH ANY PLAYERS OR THEIR FAMILIES

Sources close to the team have made it clear that it wasn't the source of Perry's problem, and the team's GM, Kyle Davidson, also came out to admit that Bedard and his family weren't involved.

Jimmy Murphy, Bruins reporter, revealed that Perry's situation would be similar to what occurred to Ime Udoka of the Boston Celtics a few years back. Here's a report to remind you of the Udoka events:

'ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported that an independent probe commissioned by the Celtics found that Udoka had an inappropriate workplace relationship with one woman and used crude language before the start of the relationship.''

We haven't heard the end of this story. One thing is sure: with the most recent statements and outings of GMs and many hockey insiders, the Twitter (X) page that may have started the rumours on Perry and Bedard's mom should be looking for a lawyer.
