Johnny Gaudreau's widow Meredith shares heart wrenching message on social media

Johnny Gaudreau's wife Meredith has taken to social media to honor and pay tribute her late husband with a heartbreaking post that is leaving fans teary eyed.

In late August the hockey world and NHL was struck with horrific news that it has lost one if its superstars in a devastating car accident. Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau were attending their sister wedding in their home town of New Jersey when they were struck on their bikes by a drunk driver.

Some of the saddest news came out during Johnny and Matthew's funeral when Meredith revealed she was pregnant with their 3rd child.

Meredith Gaudreau has just revealed that she was pregnant at the time that her loved one Johnny passed away. Johnny Gaudreau was going to be a dad for a third time, expanding their family to three little ones.

Now, a few months later, Meredith still takes to social media (Instagram) on a regular basis to honor and keep Gaudreau's memory alive and well.

In her most recent post, she shared an old interview of Johnny talking about how much his family means to him and how he dedicated his life to providing for his them.

"Everything he did was for his family. Couldn't have asked for a more loving and selfless guy, he was so perfect, I will never stop being so grateful to have been his wife, and I'll never stop feeling like the luckiest girl in the world for that. I love you John so much."
