First overall pick and Vancouver product Macklin Celebrini scores his first goal in his debut
The Vancouver product and most recent first overall in the NHL's Amateur Draft, Macklin Celebrini, made his very anticipated debut with the San Jose Sharks.
In good old fashion, the star in the making scored his first goal in his first, and it was a beauty. The rookie stepped on the ice for a power play, accepted a pass from Luca Cagnoni and sent a rocket home just over the Golden Knights goaltender's shoulder.
The 18-year-old sensation wasted no time adding points; he added an assist a little over a minute later. However, Celebrini's stellar offensive showcase came in a losing effort as the Sharks had to settle for a 4-2 loss.
