Allvin busy on the trade market: Insider reveals what they're after
The Vancouver Canucks general manager, Patrik Allvin, is still looking to make changes to their roster as the season begins.
The Canucks begin their season on October 11th and there are a few spots Allvin is looking to fill. The Sekeres and Price show, Frank Seravelli came on to discuss what Allvin is working on.
Servalli says "...The Canucks have been working for a few weeks to try and move a contract or two...they're going to keep trying to tweak..."
According to Canucksaccess, Rick Dhaliwal has reported that the Canucks are looking for a right-hand shot to play along side Quinn Hughes. Hughes has played with Cole McWard for most of the preseason.
While the young defensemen, McWard, has played well in the right-hand first-paring role, the team will be looking to upgrade their top line. The team is still interested in bringing back Ethan Bear but he will be out until December.
We will see what Allvin decides to do with his top pairing as the season begins.
