Canucks release celebratory post regarding Nils Hoglander
The Vancouver Canucks sent out birthday wishes to Nils Höglander on Wednesday.
The forward is celebrating his 23rd birthday on December 20, and as far as his NHL career goes, it's the best birthday he's had yet.
Höglander has 15 points in 31 games this season, and while he's only averaging 11:06 per game he's making the most of his minutes and his head coach Rick Tocchet has taken notice, meaning his time on ice could see an uptick.
I know if I can trust Hoggy (Höglander), he's gonna play, and I'm trusting him now,
Tocchet said of promoting Hoglander to the top six.
The newly 23 year old and his team have his birthday off, but they'll be in Dallas tomorrow night.
A very happy birthday to Nils Höglander!
