Dakota Joshua heard the message loud and clear: Destroys a player with massive hit
When Rick Tocchet addressed the media the day after the blowout 10-0 lost against the Flames, he directly pointed out Dakota Joshua has one of the camp's deception. The forward had been highly regarded for his intensity, his tenacity and devotion to the team, but clearly none of that had been there up to this point.
PICKING IT UP NICELY?
Given the opportunity to prove his worth and up his value during the team's two latest outings, Joshua responded well to the critics.
From management, to coaching staff and analyst, everybody took notice of the big 81's efforts. Tonight again he's been strong on pucks and delivered big hits like he was asked. This one is just another example:
STRONG CASE TO START THE SEASON IN VANCOUVER?
Joshua has been one of Tocc's favorites player ever since he came into town. Highlighted by the coach as a player with a lot of in tap potential, Joshua notched 11 goals and 23 points in 79 outings last season. With Tocchet's full confidence over 82 games, can he do better? Can Joshua score 20? He's already getting looks in the team's 3rd line:
