As we quickly approach the opening of training camps around the National Hockey League, we're beginning to hear more and more chatter regarding trade rumours and which teams may be involved.

On Friday, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman revealed an interesting tidbit regarding the Vancouver Canucks. He said that the Canucks and Ottawa Senators are two teams to keep an eye on as in the coming days as trade talks begin to heat up.

"On Elliote Friedman's 32 Thoughts Podcast, he says the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks are two significant players to watch in the coming days as NHL trade talks heat up across the league."

From the Canucks' standpoint, there are limited options on who may be on the move but after weeks and frankly months of rumours, it's possible that one name on his way out could by Tyler Myers, once he receives his bonus on Friday, September 15th.

Another name to keep an eye on could be forward Anthony Beauvillier, who the Canucks acquired in the Bo Horvat trade with the New York Islanders earlier this year. Beauvillier has one year remaining on his contract with a cap hit of $4.15 million, so if Allvin is able to off-load that, it would significantly help the Canucks' salary cap situation.

It's going to be interesting to watch in the coming days and weeks if anything materializes on this front as training camps are set to open in less than two weeks.

Who do you think is more likely to be dealt by the Canucks before the start of the 2023-24 season - Tyler Myers or Anthony Beauvillier? Let us know your thoughts in the poll below!
