J.T. Miller has had an excellent start to his 2023-2024 season. Pointed out by some for the Canucks rough 2022-2023 season despite collecting 82 points through 81 games, the American picked his game up nicely and seems to be looked at as a role model in this young Canuck locker room.
MILLER GETTING THE RECOGNITION HE DESERVES
Playing under Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes' shadows works wonders for the veteran, but he's now been recognized for his overall game. The Hockey News made Miller the Canucks player of the week. The Canucks had 2-0-1 week, with the number 9 scoring four points in that span.
Miller has had a productive start to the year, scoring four goals and eight assists through the first eight games of the season. Miller is centring a line with Brock Boeser and Phil Di Giuseppe, which seems to have some great chemistry.
If Miller can keep up this type of play, the Canucks will be in good shape throughout the season. The Canucks will rely on the 30-year-old to continue his brilliant play.
