LATEST | Canucks' affiliate announces the passing of former player
We have some sad news to report on in the hockey world to start the week.
The Vancouver Canucks' East Coast Hockey League (ECHL) affiliate, the Kalamazoo Wings, announced on Monday morning that former defenceman Jordan Little has passed away at the age of 42.
"The Kalamazoo Wings organization and alumni are heartbroken, learning this past weekend of the passing of defenseman Jordan Little.
Please join us in sending love & comfort to the entire Little family during this time of mourning." The Wings said in a post on X.
They have little spent his professional hockey career playing in the minor league across North America, including the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons with the Kalamazoo Wings when they were a part of the now-defunct International Hockey League.
Little ended his playing career with the Evansville IceMen of the Central Hockey League (CHL) before turning his attention to coaching in the SPHL.
The thoughts of everyone here at Canucks Daily are with Little's family and friends at this time.
