LATEST | Bad news strikes the Canucks and Carson Soucy
The Vancouver Canucks have announced some bad news regarding defenceman Carson Soucy.
After leaving Sunday's game against the Montreal Canadiens following a shot block, the blue liner will miss six to eight weeks with a lower body injury.
"General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that defenceman Carson Soucy will be out six to eight weeks with a lower body injury."
Soucy, 29, signed with the Vancouver Canucks this summer after spending the previous two seasons with the Seattle Kraken.
In 13 game so far this season, the Viking, Alberta has five points (two goals, three assists), two penalty minutes and is a plus-six.
