OFF SEASON CHANGES ARE PAYING OFF
Brock Boeser sat down with Rick Tocchet at the end of the year, and the two laid out what needed the change, and Boeser went home with one objective in mind. The Minnesota native had previously been performing in the infamous Da Beauty League. Still, after realizing it was holding him back in his preparation, he decided not to attend this year to focus on the good things.
He also opted to work with a new trainer, Tommy Powers, a former NHL Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, and it works wonders for him. Powers already had a proven track record when working with NHLers, but Boeser is now a transformed player:
Despite having a ''down-season'' in 2022-2023, Boeser still managed to put decent numbers on the board, collecting 18 goals and 55 points in 74 games. After six games this year, he's already scored 6 goals and 8 points while being a constant offensive menace.
Everybody is well aware that he most likely won't be scoring 82 goals this year, but seeing the way he's played early this year. We may be about to witness BB6's breakout season where he finally performs up to his elite sniper's potential.
