The Canucks have been active since the end of season and made acquisitions to enhance their mediatic product and offer more content to their ever growing fanbase.
The Canucks have yet to make a formal announcement regarding the matter, but the OHL's Mississauga Steelheads broke the news first that their Social Media and Community Relations Manager had been hired to the big leagues:
''The Mississauga Steelheads are excited to announce that the team's Social Media and Community Relations Manager, Samantha Fleming, has been hired as the Social Media Manager for the Vancouver Canucks. She will work as part of the media team to strategize and create content for the Canucks' social channels. ''
This hiring comes in addition to the two other ones the Canucks have made at the end of the season. The team has commited to offer the fans more content via their social medias.
