LATEST | Canucks make a statement involving Elias Pettersson
The Vancouver Canucks have released a post on their social media account celebrating forward Elias Pettersson.
Today, November 12th, marks Elias Pettersson's 25th birthday and it just so happens that the Canucks are in action on his birthday against the Montreal Canadiens.
"Quarter of a century for Petey 🎂
Happy birthday, Elias!" The Canucks said in a post on X.
Pettersson has had a very strong start to the 2023-24 National Hockey League season. In 14 games so far, the Sundsvall, Sweden native has 25 points (seven goals, 18 assists), zero penalty minutes and is a plus-six.
His future in Vancouver may still be a little uncertain given he's a restricted free agent after the season is over and he hasn't begun negotiating yet, but with how the team has started the 2023-24 campaign, it'll certainly help their chances at locking up the star forward to a long-term contract in the spring.
On behalf of everyone here at CanucksDaily, we would like to wish Elias Pettersson a happy 25th birthday!
