LATEST | Dallas Stars have signed former Canucks defenceman
The Dallas Stars announced on Tuesday that they've agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 with unrestricted free agent defenceman Derrick Pouliot.
Pouliot, 29, signed an AHL contract with the San Jose Barracuda last summer, which he parlayed into a one-year deal with the Sharks on March 2nd for the remainder for the 2022-23 season. His time with the Barracuda was his the most productive year of his professional career thus far, recording 25 points in 37 games.
The 2012 eighth overall pick appeared in 133 games for the Vancouver Canucks between the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, putting up 34 points (six goals, 28 assists), 69 penalty minutes and was a minus-23.
