The waiver wire continues to be busy as NHL teams make their final roster decisions as the season soon approaches. According to Chris Johnston and Elliotte Friedman, forty-six NHL players were placed on waivers today.

The Canucks have options as they continue to look for RHD to play alongside of Quinn Hughes. One cheap option is Gustav Lindstrom from the Montreal Canadiens. The young righty recorded 20 points in his 36 games last season as a member of the Red Wings.

Patrik Allvin will be tasked with making the decision on who and if they will need one of these defenseman before their season starts on October 11th.
