TRADE ALERT | Canucks acquire forward from the Maple Leafs
The news just broke, Patrik Allvin announced a trade with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Sam Lafferty will be joining the Canucks, he is a former Penguins draft pick from 2014. Here's the full trade announcement:
There is no telling how this help the Canucks with their cap issues, it's hard to believe that more moves are about to unfold.
Lafferty, a right handed shot centerman, was acquired by the Maple Leafs at last year's deadline.
