One year can make a world of difference, and that's certainly been the case for Brock Boeser.

The Canucks' forward has seen his fortunes change for the better alongside the team this season, and he's scoring at the best pace of his career.

Last night the Canucks marked Hockey Fights Cancer Night against the Anaheim Ducks, a meaningful night for Boeser who's late father Duke battled the illness.

In 2022 Boeser was set to be healthy scratched for the Canucks' Hockey Fights Cancer night before a teammate got sick, fast forward one year and Boeser entered the 2023 Hockey Fights Cancer Night tied for the league lead in goals.

On Tuesday night, Boeser scored the first and third goal for the Canucks in a 3-1 victory, taking sole possession of the NHL's goal scoring lead.

One year has brought quite the change for Boeser who is thriving more than ever.
