Nothing has stopped the Canucks' captain since the season began, and now he's just leading them through New York.

Hughes just became one of four outstanding, to say the least, defenceman to start the first half of a season with 50 points and a +30 rating. Joining Hockey Hall of Famers like Bobby Orr, Denis Potvin and Paul Coffey.
Hughes now leads every NHL defencemen in points with 11 goals and 40 assists through 41 games. He remains on pace for 102 points if he plays a full 82-game season.
