New York Knicks guard Quentin Grimes was at Madison Square Garden on Monday night watching the Canucks take on the Rangers, but he wasn't cheering for his arena-mates.

Grimes is in fact the half brother of Canucks defenceman Tyler Myers, with the two pro athletes having different dads but the same mother.

Myers was born in Texas but grew up in Calgary with his father, Quentin Grimes was born ten years later in Houston to Tonja Stelly and former college point guard Marshall Grimes.

Myers is one of the only people outside of the NBA that Grimes literally has to look up to, with the 6'4 guard being 4 inches shorter than his half brother.

When Grimes was drafted by the Clippers in 2021 and subsequently traded to the Knicks, he and Myers became the first duo of brothers to play in the NBA and NHL.

Myers found his way on to the scoresheet in front of his mother and half brother, adding an assist in the Canucks 6-3 win.
