The Vancouver Canucks are set to wrap up their road trip on Tuesday night as they take on the Nashville Predators and at the morning skate, Rick Tocchet has made a change to the lineup, specifically as to where Tyler Myers will play.

Tyler Myers will play on the Canucks' third defensive pairing tonight along with Carson Soucy. The two will definitely play a shutdown role, but it begs the question, are the Canucks close to moving Myers?

If the Canucks want to trade Tyler Myers, they'll need to showcase him as much as possible, even if that's on the third pairing. Plenty of Canucks fans want to see Myers in the press box, especially after recent performances, but it wouldn't be wise for the team to do that at this time as other organizations are wanting to see what he's still capable of before making a trade offer to Patrik Allvin.

Myers, 33, is in the final year of his contract which comes with a cap hit of $6 million and has a modified no-trade clause. The good thing for interested teams though is that Myers is only owed $1 million because he was paid a $5 million bonus by the Canucks back in September.

Let's take a look at the projected lineup for tonight's game against Nashville, according to Thomas Drance:

"PDG-Miller-Boeser
Kuzmenko-Pettersson-Mikheyev
Joshua-Suter-Garland
Beauvillier-Lafferty-Höglander

Hughes-Hronek
Cole-Friedman
Soucy-Myers

Extras: Juulsen, Studnicka"

Puck drop for tonight's game against the Predators is set for 6:15 p.m. PT/9:15 p.m. ET and can be watched on Sportsnet in the Canucks viewing region.
