In an interview with The Province, Tocchet said he doesn't believe the Canucks' process has been very good and that they have slipped, but knows they can improve.
Tocchet's comments come after a 4-1 loss at home to the Philadelphia Flyers, who are coached by former Canucks bench boss John Tortorella. In that game, the Canucks didn't look good and while that could be attributed to them coming off of the holiday break and not playing in five days, it's not an excuse and they need to be better on Tuesday, as everyone knows they can be.
The Canucks will return to action on Tueday night at Rogers Arena as they host the Ottawa Senators at 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet Pacific.
