The Canucks are off to a hot start, especially at home, where they have yet to take a loss in regulation (2-0-1). They'll be back on home ice tomorrow as the Nashville Predators come for a visit.

TOCCHET ISN'T PLEASED WITH EVERYBODY'S PERFORMANCE: SWITCHES THING UP

The Head Coach thought his boys deserved a better fate after Saturday's tilt with the Rangers but still wasn't fully satisfied with every one of his players. The coach adopted notable changes to his bottom 6.

In his post-practice interview, Tocchet noted that he was looking to send a message right at Dakota Joshua, whose effort hasn't met his expectations. By every look of it, he was relegated to the 13th forward spot. Beauvilier, Suter and Garland could become an extremely intriguing 3rd line. Three feisty and speedy forward, there could be some sparks there.

Lines from @Canucks practice:

Di Giuseppe-Miller-Boeser
Kuzmenko-Pettersson-Mikheyev
Beauvillier-Suter-Garland
Höglander-Lafferty-Studnicka
Extra: Joshua

Hughes-Hronek
Cole-Friedman
Soucy-Myers

Tocchet grew very fond of Joshua last year and saw loads of potential in him. The response hasn't been there yet. When Tocchet first came in, everyone described him as a ''NO BS'' type of coach, and thus far, he's lived up to his reputation.
