LATEST | St. Louis Blues fire a shot at Thatcher Demko after their own player breaks the code showing major lack of sportsmanship
The Canucks weren't able to get the upper hand on the Blues and ended surrendering a 2-1 loss. A particular sequence has been drawing lots of heated talks on the web and the Blues took advantage of it to fire a shot at Thatcher Demko.
BLUES FORWARD BREAKS THE CODE
Pavel Buchnevich broke one of hockey's 'unwritten rule' and showed poor sportsmanship. After the play had stopped, the forward went around the defenceman and Thatcher Demko to put the puck in the net after the latter had made the save. Everybody knows you can't do that and players have even been dropped for such actions in the past.
Thatcher Demko was infuriated with the player's act and jump right up to share a piece of his mind.
BLUES FIRING SHOTS AT DEMKO AFTER BREAKING THE CODE
The Blues showed an even bigger disrespect when they made an attempt at a very bad joke with the following post:
Players should've responded, but since nobody did, Demko stood for himself. The Blues should've pretended like they never saw that one.
