On the night the team honoured Roberto Luongo, the Vancouver Canucks walked away with a 4-0 shutout over the Florida Panthers, with Thatcher Demko making 36 saves.
Despite the win and shutout, Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters that the team isn't satisfied with how they played throughout the night.
"I don't see a satisfied groupNow you can enjoy where they're at, but tomorrow is a new dayThis is the approach this group likes to have."
The team's dissatisfaction with how they played just shows that the standard Rick Tocchet has set for them since being hired by the Canucks organization back in January.
With their homestand now over, the Canucks will head out on the road for a four-game trip where they'll face off against the Minnesota Wild, Chicago Blackhawks, Nashville Predators and the Dallas Stars before returning to Rogers Arena on Boxing Day against Philadelphia.
Puck drop for the first game of the road trip in Minnesota on Saturday is set for 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET and can be viewed across the country on Sportsnet.
