LATEST | Tocchet takes subtle dig at those waiting for Canucks to fail

Thanks to goals from Teddy Blueger, Nils Hoglander, Dakota Joshua, Ilya Mikheyev and Sam Lafferty, along with 23 saves from Thatcher Demko, the Canucks walked away with a 5-1 win.
Friday's win was exactly what Rick Tocchet wanted from his team and he told reporters that after the game, while taking a subtle shot at those who are waiting for the team to fail.
"A lot of people are waiting for us to fall apart. That was a good win for us."
The Canucks will have a quick turnaround and be back in action tonight as they take on the San Jose Sharks to wrap up their three-game road trip. While it's not confirmed at the time of writing this, it's expected that Casey DeSmith will get the start between the pipes.
