The Canucks have already seen their fair share of injuries, despite the fact that we're merely over 20 games into the season. Carson Soucy's been sidelined twice, Teddy Blueger missed considerable time, Guillaume Brisebois as yet to see a game this year, Elias Pettersson is bothered by an undisclosed injury and now Tocchet updated on Pius Suter and it's not looking any better.
CANUCKS MEDICAL TEAM AT IT AGAIN?
Today, the team's Head Coach updated on Suter's injury. At first, the Canucks were supposedly looking at a day-to-day situation, but it's now turned into a week-to-week since a setback is holding him out longer than expected. Suter has yet to get on the ice since he got injured:
''Rick Tocchet says Pius Suter is out with a lower body injury. He had a setback about a week ago, and it's taken longer for him to recover than they initially expected. He still has to get back skating before he can return to the lineup.'' #Canucks
Allvin added Suter via free agency this summer and the centerman is seemingly fitting right in. Up to four goals in the first 15 outings, he was just starting to get his scoring touch when he got injured.
