"I think as time went on we were going in kind of two different directions. I was more concerned with the vision and kind of the long-term play. I mean I went to work every day thinking about, you know, what was best for the organization and trying to look three, four, five years down the road." Linden said.
He went on to add, "Like I've said, I didn't need a job at that point and I wasn't there to try and keep my job or save my job. I was looking for what was in the best interest of the hockey club. So, I think it was, it's not a secret that we had different ideas on how we should do things."
