The Canucks reunited at Rogers Arena, and they were back on the ice for the first time since their last game on the 23rd. The holiday break gave the Canucks an opportunity to spend some time with their loved ones and recharge their batteries.
TOCCHET USING UNCONVENTIONAL EXCERCISES TO GET THEM BACK INTO SHAPE?
After a few days off, Tocchet had set up a hard-battled practice with a series of unconventional exercises that sparked some social media conversations.
While the push-up is a well-known off-ice exercise, it's also used for on-ice conditioning. Tocchet intended to test his players and see how they cared for themselves during their few days off in an attempt to take them to their limit during their first practice back. The players paid the price if they took to man cheat days during the holidays.
The Canucks will be back on the ice as the Flyers are going to be in town on Thursday.
