LATEST | Vancouver Canucks prospect announces life-changing news
Vancouver Canucks prospect Tristen Nielsen announced some pretty significant and life-changing news on his social media in recent days.
The 23-year-old and his partner, Emma, have announced that they are expecting their first child in 2024 and posted pictures of a photoshoot they did, along with the ultrasound images of the baby.
"Congratulations to Tristen Nielsen and his partner Sarah, who announced that they are expecting a baby! 👏" The Abbotsford Canucks said in a post on X.
The Fort St. John, British Columbia native joined the Vancouver Canucks organization in 2021, signing an AHL contract with Abbotsford after spending five seasons in the Western Hockey League.
After two seasons in the American Hockey League, the Canucks signed Nielsen to a one-year, entry-level contract for the 2023-24 season. So far this season, he's appeared in ten games for Abbotsford, putting up nine points (six goals, three assists).
From all of us here at Canucks Daily, congratulations to Tristen and his partner, Emma!
