The Canucks are headed to Abbotsford, where they'll be having their next pre-season game hosting the Seattle Kraken for the second time in the 2023 pre-season. Rick Tocchet's men will be looking to make a streak out of the win they collected at the Rogers Arena against the Oilers earlier this weekend.

TOCCHET CONFIRMS TOUGH NEWS AHEAD OF PRE-SEASON GAME #5

Elias Pettersson has been feeling ''under the weather'' over the last two days and has missed the subsequent practices. Rick Tocchet took the mic after practice and confirmed that Pettersson would not be taking part in Wednesday's game in Abbotsford:

''Tocchet says EP40 will not play in Abby tomorrow night #Canucks''

The fans that were dreading to see the Canucks' very own superstar on the ice will have to wait a little longer or travel to Vancouver. Jack Studnicka has reportedly been skating between Anthony Beauvilier and Andrei Kuzmenko on the team's top line and will most likely be taking his spot for now.

The Canucks now show a 1-2-1 record with two games remaining. Set to kick things off on October 11th as they host the Edmonton Oilers; we're hopeful they can build off this energy to keep bringing Ws.
