SCARY SCENE | Mark Friedman leaves the game with a bloody forehead
Mark Friedman is a tough of a soldier as it gets. In the early stages of the game, the Defenseman caught a shot to the head, stayed in the game and delivered his best.
A little later however, he wasn't as lucky. The Defenseman got tangled up with Valeri Nichuskin in front of the Canucks' net and seemingly caught a stick blade to the forehead that cut him just on top of his eye.
The Canucks confirmed that he would not be making it back:
The Canucks already have two other Defenseman on the sidelines with Carson Soucy and Guillaume Brisebois. Hopefully it's nothing serious.
