With the majority of Vancouver's work in the free agent market done, Patrik Allvin could look to seek out some depth options to round out his forward group and on the blueline.

There are still several intriguing names available in free agency and in a recent article on The Hockey News, Adam Kierszenblat shared five potential players that the Canucks could sign in the coming weeks or months to help depth-wise.

On forward, Kierszenblat shared three names - Former sixth overall pick Filip Zadina, 2019 Stanley Cup champion Sammy Blais and veteran James van Riemsdyk.

Zadina, 24, spent the 2023-24 campaign with the San Jose Sharks after terminating his contract with Detroit last summer. In 72 games, he registered 23 points (13 goals, ten assists), 18 penalty minutes and was a minus-44.

Blais, 28, missed time with an upper-body injury back in February and went on to appear in only 53 games for the Blues this past season where he saw a sharp decline in production. The Montmagny, Quebec native tallied seven points (one goal, six assists), 31 penalty minutes and was a minus-11.

van Riemsdyk, a veteran of over 1,000 games in the National Hockey League, he's coming off a pretty solid season for the Boston Bruins, playing a depth role while managing to put up 38 points (11 goals, 27 assists) in 71 games. He also had five points in 11 games during the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

On the blueline, the Canucks likely don't need anymore help and their six guys are set for the start of the 2024-25 season - Quinn Hughes, Filip Hronek, Tyler Myers, Carson Soucy, Vincent Desharnais & Derek Forbort. Tocchet will also have Noah Juulsen to deploy if an injury occurs. Over the course of an 82-game regular season, each team's depth will be tested and that's why it might not be a bad idea for Allvin to take a look and see what's out there. Kierszenblat listed 24-year-old Calen Addison and former Stanley Cup champion Kevin Shattenkirk as potential options.

Of the three forward options named by Kierszenblat, who would you rather the Canucks try and sign? Let us know what you think in the poll below.
