The Vancouver Canucks and their players love to be involved in the community both in the city and surrounding areas. It helps form a bond between the team and the fanbase, with some appearances helping out charity.
This week after the Vancouver Canucks returned from their four-game road trip, Conor Garland and Dakota Joshua, who formed one of the best third lines in the National Hockey League last season, got together to surprise fans at Tim Horton's.
While going through the drive-thru at a Tim Horton's in Richmond, British Columbia, Canucks fan @zoomnucks on X was greeted by Conor Garland and Dakota Joshua, who were taking customer's orders at the window.
Noah Strang of Daily Hive spoke with @zoomnucks about her experience meeting Garland and Joshua where she said that was a great surprise.
Vancouver Canucks fans are hoping to see Dakota Joshua back in game action as soon as he's able to. Just as training camp was getting underway, Dakota Joshua announced that he was diagnosed with testicular cancer over the summer. Joshua has undergone treatment and is working his way back, and has been back at practice this week, albeit in a non-contact jersey.
Once Dakota Joshua is able to return to the Canucks' lineup, it's going to be interesting to see if Rick Tocchet decides to reunite their third line from last season along with Conor Garland and Teddy Blueger. However, given how well Conor Garland has played so far this season, he's earned the promotion into the top-six and for now, likely won't be dropped back down to the third line. But, anything can happen, so we'll have to wait and see.
