Enormous announcement regarding the Canucks' legendary John Garrett
A little over a year ago now, the Canucks' legendary commentator known as Cheech John Garrett, announced his retirement from calling the Canucks' game.
Since Garrett announced he'd be stepping away, a mix of Dave Tomlinson and Ray Ferraro shared the workload. Even though they've done excellent work, they have yet to reach Garrett's level.
Earlier this week, the Donnie and Dhali show announced they'd cover the team's post-game shows. They added an enormous announcement: Cheech will be joining their cast to cover the team.
Thrilled to announce @SNJohnGarrett will be joining us during our @DonnieandDhali Playoff Post Game shows!
Please tune in to our first show on Sunday night after Game 1!
The Canucks will be back in the playoffs for the first time since the 2020 infamous bubble playoffs, where the team caused a surprise. However, they'll be a part of the natural spring dance, for the first time since 2015.
