J.T. Miller made his return to the New York Rangers on Saturday and despite the loss to Boston, the game went as perfectly as he could've expected.
Less than 24 hours after trading J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, the 31-year-old made he return to the Blueshirts as they took on the Boston Bruins this afternoon and shared some nice comments about his former club.
J.T. Miller thanks Vancouver Canucks during intermission interview
As mentioned, J.T. Miller made his return to the New York Rangers today, the team that drafted him 15th overall in 2011, and he did not disappoint.
Miller scored the Rangers' first goal of the game to tie things up at 1-1 just over halfway through the first period and added a second goal a little over 30 seconds into the final frame.
During the first intermission, J.T. Miller was interviewed by ESPN's Emily Kaplan where he said that he has no disrespect for the Vancouver Canucks and thanked the organization for giving him everything.
"I'm definitely excited. I have no disrespect to the Vancouver Canucks organization. They've given me absolutely everything and the support I've had over this whole year, it's been a long year." Miller said.
Miller finished Saturday's game with two goals, six shots on net and was a minus-one in 18:48 time on ice in the Rangers' 6-3 loss to David Pastrnak and the Boston Bruins.
While Vancouver Canucks fans are glad they don't have to hear about the drama and feud with J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson anymore, they'll certainly miss the East Palestine, Ohio native and he won't be an easy player to replace in the lineup.
