LATEST | Canucks make a statement regarding forward Nils Aman
The Vancouver Canucks are coming off a big win over one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference, the Carolina Hurricanes, and on Wednesday, had a lot to celebrate, for a different reason.
In a post on their X account, formerly Twitter, the Vancouver Canucks shared that it is Nils Aman's birthday, as he turns 24-years-old today.
"Join us in wishing Nils man a happy birthday! 🎉

The Avesta, Sweden native was originally drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2020, but never signed with them and became a free agent after his rights expired on June 1st, 2022. Seven days later, the Canucks signed him to a two-year contract, with Aman making the opening night roster out of training camp.
So far this season, Aman has split time between the Vancouver Canucks and their American Hockey League affiliate in Abbotsford. In 27 NHL games, Aman has six points (two goals, four assists), six penalty minutes and is a plus-one. While in 15 AHL games, he's put up 15 points (eight goals, seven assists), eight penalty minutes and is a plus-five.
Everyone here at Canucks Daily would like to wish Nils Aman a very happy birthday!
