LATEST | NHL makes an announcement on Andrei Kuzmenko
The Canucks pulled a huge deal last week with the Flames and one of their best goal scorers from the 2022-2023 campaign was shipped out to Calgary.
It did not come off as a surprise when it was announced that Andrei Kuzmenko had been traded in exchange for the excellent Elias Lindholm. Kuzmenko took part in his first Flames tongiht and wasted no time showing off his skills as he scored his first Flame goal very early in the first period:
The NHL later confirmed that Kuzmenko had scored fifth fastest goal in their Flames debut. He hasn't even been a Flame for five minutes and he's already nearing history;

The Russian gave his thoughts on his first game and it looks like things have been going up to his expectations ever since he got to Calgary:
