LATEST | J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson have joined the Sedin Twins into Canucks history
The Canucks we're hosting the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday and the team needed a big game.
Not only did the Canucks heavily respond, but they played a tremendous game both on five-on-five and on the special units. J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson both produced during the team's win, Pettersson two goals and an assist, Miller two assists and it accentued their already tremendous season.
Following the game against the Sabres, Miller now sits 7th in league scoring with 89 points through 69 games (105 pace over 82 games) Pettersson has 82 through 69 (97 pace over 82 games) and occupies the NHL's 11th rank. With over 80 points before the 70-game mark, Pettersson and Miller have now joined the Twins as the only duo to reach the 80 points mark in fewer than 70 games:
J.T. Miller & Elias Pettersson
