LATEST | Massive announcement has just been made regarding Canucks' top prospect Jonathan Lekkerimaki
While the Canucks are enjoying their best season in a decade, the future also looks bright.
That's largely due to top prospect Jonathan Lekkerimäki, whose play in the SHL makes fans anxious to see him make his NHL debut.
His strong play in February, in particular, has been recognized by the SHL, with 10 points in 9 games earning him "Player of the Month" honours.
The Swedish sniper was at a goal per game for the November, including an impressive lacrosse-style goal.
The Canucks will have holes to fill up front next season, and they're hopeful Lekkerimäki can bring his offensive upside to Vancouver sooner than later.
