LATEST | NHL makes a huge announcement on Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks
The NHL's Winter Classic will return to Wrigley Field, the home of the Cubs, for 2024-25.
That means Connor Bedard will be expected to be the star of the show as the Chicago Blackhawks welcome the St. Louis Blues.
The Blackhawks lost to the Red Wings in 2009 at Wrigley Field's last outdoor game, and will hope to redeem themselves next year.
Some fans weren't happy to see a return to Wrigley Field when many other teams still haven't had a game, but unsurprisingly the league is bringing its newest golden boy out to the Winter Classic.
Historically the game is played on January 1st.
