LATEST | Patrik Allvin announces roster movement: Setting the table for another
Allvin called two players up from the AHL on Saturday. Vasily Podkolzin and Matt Irwin were called up from the team's affiliate to cover for the team's numerous injuries.
Allvin announced moments ago that the veteran Defenseman Irwin had been sent back down:
General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that D Matt Irwin has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL).
ANOTHER ANNOUNCEMENT COMING?
The fact that Irwin has been sent back down is most likely an indicator that Carson Soucy will be getting back into action. Tocchet had already confirmed that he was getting close and this most likely confirms it.
