The Vancouver Canucks have announced their lines and brand new powerplay for their matchup against the Ottawa Senators tonight.

Ever since J.T. Miller returned from his leave of absence, the issues and drama surrounding Miller and Elias Pettersson relationship have really bubbled over the surface.

The drama even reached the point where the pair reportedly could not even play on the same power play line.

Elias Pettersson has not been the same since Miller has joined the team, going pointless.
The 10 games from November 19 and December 12, 2024, EP40 had recorded 2 goals and 13 assists, dominating on the top powerplay line.

Although nothing is confirmed about the lines, the scenes from morning practice showcased what the projected lineup will be, and history shows that the players that play with one another in morning skate are who will be with during the game.

Forwards

DeBrusk. Pettersson. Garland.
PDG. Miller. Boeser.
Joshua. Suter. Karlsson.
Heinen. Blueger. Sherwood.

Extras: Sasson, Höglander

Defense

Hughes. Myers.
Soucy. Juulsen.
Forbort. Desharnais.
Brännström.

The biggest narrative coming into this game is that head coach Rick Tocchet is trying to put the narrative aside that Miller and Pettersson can't play with one another, as he announced that he's going to be loading up the first power play, putting both Miller and EP40 together.

It is going to be interesting to see how these two drama queens will play with one another tonight.
