Vancouver Canucks Fans Unhappy With Ticket Prices for Saturday's Game vs Toronto Maple Leafs

The Vancouver Canucks are set to welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs to town tonight for their only trip to Rogers Arena during the 2024-25 season.
Tickets to National Hockey League games aren't cheap, especially in Canadian cities, as
as BC students found out in Vancouver last month, but with the Maple Leafs making their only trip to the city this season, those prices have skyrocketed on Ticketmaster.
Vancouver Canucks fans not happy with ticket prices for tonight's game
The Vancouver Canucks break down their games into tiers for fans wanting to buy tickets, with each tier coming at a different cost depending on where in Rogers Arena you want to sit.
Tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs was the only game of the 2024-25 season for the Vancouver Canucks where it was classed as "marquee-plus", which will cost you the most money.
While ticket prices may have come down a bit, compared to when they first went on sale before the season began, re-sale tickets in the upper bowl are going to cost you anywhere from $172 to over $300, the latter are standard tickets that are straight from the club/Ticketmaster and not another seller.
In the lower bowl, standard tickets range from $300 to $550 CAD, while on the re-sale market, fans can get into the 100 level starting at around $300.
Ticket prices on the re-sale market have dropped off a bit because of the season Vancouver is having to this point, but paying $170+ to sit in one of the last rows in Rogers Arena's upper bowl isn't a price that fans are willing to pay right now.
After tonight's game, the Vancouver Canucks will be off due to the 4 Nations Face-Off, with their first game back being on Saturday, February 22nd against the Vegas Golden Knights, their first of a five-game road trip.
The Vancouver Canucks won't be back at Rogers Arena, following tonight's game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, for 25 days when they host the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday, March 5th - less than 48 hours before the NHL's trade deadline.
