LATEST | Maple Leafs veteran has an on-ice breakdown and tries to fight three bystanders
Some veteran just love the game so much that when they can't keep up in the NHL, they prefer to spend their last miles in the AHL. It definitely seems to be Kyle Clifford's case.
CLIFFORD GOES AFTER THREE PLAYERS AND TWO LINESMEN
The veteran of over 750 NHL games is now down in the AHL with the Toronto Marlies and he gave a wild scene in their game yesterday. The veterans absolutely lost it and engaged in a fight in front of the opposing net. He then taunted two more players, the referee had enough and threw him out:
Clifford last played in the NHL in 2022-2023 when he was called up for two games. He spent the majority of his time with the Marlies where he played 46 games while managing 20 points.
